Parenting Assessment

We have experienced workers who are competent to undertake independent parenting capacity assessments in complex childcare proceedings in the UK and abroad. These are predominantly used in complex cases and the assessments will provide valuable insight in relation to the protective capacity of the non-abusing parent and highlight safeguarding concerns associated with lack of awareness, failure to accept responsibility, and parental vulnerability among other specific concerns. Our experienced workers provide a balanced element to their work assisting the non abusing carer to raise their awareness regarding child sexual abuse and sexual offending behaviour based on cardinal social work values and principles requisite legislation and human rights. We are mindful of the topical nature of child sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation and the need for contextual safeguarding.
